Welcome it is an honor and privilege to have you here. My background is from working as a graphic designer in advertising and that later transitioned into designing gardens and interior design in my clients homes. This allowed me to work with my love of color, art and textiles to create magical environments. 

 

I started painting after doing beadwork for many years which like art direction requires precision and patience. Creating Medicine bags and regalia embellished with ancient trade beads on large museum quality pieces for over 35 years. My own indigenous roots are with the Sami of Norway and I consider us all of us to be indigenous to our beloved planet Earth. I have worked with many First Nations Elders in different healing modalities and have traveled to many Sacred sights.

Some paintings are from my show entitled Universal Human and has been inspired by my life journey. The titles are from Hebrew and Aramaic sacred names for the divine that come from historical texts such as Sanskrit, Vedic and the Keys of Enoch. 

My intent is to inspire others to share their gifts and creativity, to express their deepest emotions and feelings in any way they are inspired to do so. To awaken to their divinity and and to claim their sovereignty.
